Instruments

What you can learn.

Every instrument taught with the same core approach — get you playing music you love, as fast as possible, with a real understanding of how it works.

🎼
Theory
Theory should be easy. Learn how to apply it practically so it unlocks what you're trying to play — not slows you down.
🎸
Guitar
Acoustic, electric, classical, fingerstyle, jazz, rock, folk, pop. From your first chord to your first original song.
🎹
Piano & Keys
Classical foundations or contemporary playing. Chords, theory, improvisation, and songwriting at the keys.
🎵
Bass Guitar
Lock in the groove. Learn to hold the pocket, read the room, and understand your role in any band.
🎤
Voice & Singing
Range, pitch, breath, tone, harmony. Whether you're a beginner singer or want to refine what you already have.
Teaching session

Theory that actually makes sense.

"The fastest path to making music is learning to hear it."

Most music education teaches you what to play. The goal here is to teach you how to hear — so that what you play starts coming from inside you rather than from a page.

That means ear training is baked into every lesson. Not as an extra subject, but as the thread that ties everything together. Students who can hear what they're playing learn faster, retain more, and enjoy it a whole lot more.

Any style. Any song. Any level. The theory is the same — we just apply it to whatever you actually want to play.

How it works

Simple and flexible.

Lessons are tailored completely to you — your instrument, your goals, your schedule.

01
Get in touch
Send a message with your instrument, level, and what you're hoping to achieve. A quick chat usually tells us everything we need to know.
02
First lesson
We figure out where you are and where you want to go. No audition, no pressure — just a relaxed session to get started.
03
In-person only
Lessons take place here at the studio in Toronto. If you need me to come to you, that's available too — just reach out to discuss location and travel.
04
Your pace, your songs
No cookie-cutter curriculum. The songs you want to learn drive the lessons, and theory gets introduced as you need it.
05
Make Your Own
Ready to create something original? We'll work on songwriting, arrangement, and basic production — turning your ideas into actual tracks you can share with the world.
06
Recital
When you're ready, get out there and show the world. Students perform at regular recitals — a relaxed, supportive environment to share what you've been building. Nothing accelerates growth like playing for an audience.
